I checked the website's validity before posting, and it is a nonpartisan UK daily paper, so it's a listicle with better-educated opinions. 2022 Persuasion is on here, which genuinely surprised me, considering all the hubbub, but hey, I also like it!

I’m doing a little research for the #1952Club reading event that’s coming up in the week of 21 April (read a book from that year and post a review of it) and there are plenty of options - Excellent Women by Barbara Pym but I’ve read that several times, The Price of Salt by Patricia Highsmith, They Do it with Mirrors by Agatha Christie, The Birds and other Stories by Daphne du Maurier, Murder in the Mill-Race by E C Lorac, The Tiger in the Smoke by Margery Allingham, Bramton Wick by Elizabeth Fair and Ladies, Bane by Patricia Wentworth are tempting so far #bookstodon #Reading #books @kaggsy59

[The Oblivion Crisis]
youtube.com/watch?v=s3uRKofYNz

Today, we're reading about the Oblivion Crisis, which were the events that took place during The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. This is a perfect book to read after yesterday's On Oblivion for reasons you'll figure out once you listen to it :bugcat_nod:

This book is available in TESV: Skyrim, which makes sense. It was written between Oblivion and Skyrim, with details that would be known to the Hero of Kvatch, but not to a historian trying to put the events together afterwards without access to them :zerotwo_learn:

Oh, and I also adjusted some things for the moi and I'm more expressive than before :shiba_love:

“They were careless people, Tom and Daisy — they smashed up things and creatures and then retreated back into their money or their vast carelessness or whatever it was that kept them together, and let other people clean up the mess they had made.”
"The Great Gatsby" was published 100 years ago today. @npr looks at the continued relevance of F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel, with its commentary on immigration, race, class, and the liberated "new woman."
