It is… "fascinating" (for lack of a better word) how much of #DonTheCon's policies AND popular support is drawn from #racism.

Think of all the #DayOne promises he made & failed to achieve: Bring prices down, end the war in #Ukraine, retrieve the hostages in #Gaza… etc & so on.

"Round up gang members & terrorists and #deport them" became: going after the low-hanging fruit of UNAdjudicated migrants already in jail & foreign-born protesters on college campuses.

AND THEY DON'T CARE.

It suddenly struck me yesterday that it appears #MafiaDon has suddenly given up on his dream of winning a #NobelPeacePrize.

He said he could/would end the war in #Ukraine on #DayOne only to discover #Putin isn't interested in doing so.

Ditto for #Gaza & #Bibi.

Now he invites a South American dictator into the Oval for a photo-op, and (with a smile) wonders aloud about tossing AMERICAN CITIZENS into foreign torture prisons w/o benefit of #DueProcess.

I heard a lot of Sunday hosts this morning point out how: "T**** promised to bring down prices on #DayOne."

Now he's saying this could be "a two year process".

He certainly wasn't so forgiving of #Biden to restore the economy after T****'s mishandling of the #pandemic destroyed it. #DisasterPresidency

It's the credo by which all #Republican politicians live by. From #SCotUS nominees lying about #Roe being "settled law" just to get onto the Court (then ending it as soon as they got on) to #DonTheCon telling his gullible #cult he'd "end #inflation and bring down prices on #DayOne (thx to his magical #tariffs). He didn't.

I'm noticing some of the EO's #DonTheCon is signing are CLEARLY being pushed by The #ElongatedMuskrat.

The #DayOne EO he signed ending "work from home" options for employees put into place during #Covid was something #Muskrat was CONSTANTLY bitching about on 'X'.

And now ending #LBJ's "no-discrimination hiring among gov't contractors" has his fingerprints all over it.
