It caught me by surprise. Hereditary high cholesterol. But I had a vigorous exercise program before surgery. And I have an even more vigorous one now. And drugs and diet. I don’t feel depressed, but I feel very detached and “separate”. I feel that I have to figure out why I am alive. I feel as if I am now wasting time. So do other people go through this experience? what is it?</p>
