The "NY Times Book Review" is a very profitable enterprise and an icon of capitalist culture, even when viewed seperate from its parent company.
(Some would argue it's the only proof that "capitalist culture" isn't entirely an oxymoron.)
It's precisely the sort of account that would never align with a movement like the Fediverse unless the REVOLUTION were fully underway.
Call them a bell weather .. and keep a close eye.
