Børge<p>The good thing is that the "you took a screenshot" notifications persist, so that I can still be reminded of it the day after. Even weeks after, if I don't get around to clear them – which I will do this time, because now it actually takes a few seconds to open the clock menu because of all these notifications… </p><p>Btw, I've taken several screenshots today also, but those notifications just appears for a very short time and then are gone. What's going on there? It's good, but not normal. </p><p><a href="https://tutoteket.no/tags/Gnome" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Gnome</span></a></p>
Cleo Menezes Jr. :verified:<p>Hello guys, I released Serigy, an app to pin information from the clipboard.<br>The idea came about to solve the problem of copying multiple items at once and pasting them in different places. I was hesitant to use a clipboard manager because it felt invasive. After months of development and use, I decided to publish it.</p><p>- If you wanna contribute: <a href="https://github.com/CleoMenezesJr/Serigy" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">github.com/CleoMenezesJr/Serig</span><span class="invisible">y</span></a></p><p>- Get it on <a href="https://floss.social/tags/Flathub" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Flathub</span></a>: <a href="https://flathub.org/apps/io.github.cleomenezesjr.Serigy" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">flathub.org/apps/io.github.cle</span><span class="invisible">omenezesjr.Serigy</span></a></p><p><a href="https://floss.social/tags/GNOME" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>GNOME</span></a> <a href="https://floss.social/tags/GTK" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>GTK</span></a> <a href="https://floss.social/tags/Linux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Linux</span></a> <a href="https://floss.social/tags/Flatpak" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Flatpak</span></a></p>

Fedora 42 : tout savoir sur la nouvelle version disponible ce 15 avril 2025LinuxLibre.fr

I find some UI choices of Gnome/Ubuntu very confusing. The split screen feature never works as I expect it to.
More precisely, my problem is that when I set a window to half screen, it asks me what other window I want on the other half. And the two halves are linked. I never want that. I would much rather prefer that when I set a window to a half screen, it lets me do just that and not worry about the other half. Is there a setting somewhere that does that?
