Oh wow, more yucky dreams. I guess I’ll have more to talk to my therapist about tonight? Still, I don’t like the residual shadow.

For the second time in a week, I have added a swan species to my list of birds I've dreamed about. This morning I was woken up by a Black Swan attacking me while I was swimming, after I followed it around. A few days ago, I watched a large flock of Trumpeter Swans from an aerial train.
Strange to me that both swan species are on my list, but I still haven't dreamt of Mute Swans.
I went to some friends’ house for dinner last night, and someone said something that felt disrespectful of my boundaries. It had to do with politics and the conflict between their need to talk with like-minded people about it and my need to have other things in my life.
Last night, my dreams were centered around a parking structure. I tried to enter through the exit and was blocked, and then had to hunt down the entrance. Also, I had to go through the structure in order to get to a destination on the other side. (Who puts a bank in a parking structure?) I received a ticket for a free car wash (which was in the parking structure), but the car wash was closed and broken. Outside on the street, there was an elevator down to the parking structure which also doubled as a phone booth, but the phone headset was missing and the wires had been cut. The thing is, I didn’t even have a car. I was navigating this all on foot. Rather than have a lie-in, I woke briefly at 6:30 and thought “this is exhausting” and just got up.

Do you ever have dreams where you know what's happening is super dumb but the dream keeps pushing it on you like your subconscious is an irascible toddler with "a really funny story" it just has to finish telling?
I had one of those Friday morning.
In my dreams, sometimes I can project elemental powers out of my hands: force lightning, flamethrower, water jets like a Super Soaker, all kinds of stuff.
In this dream, I was in a back yard that was a combination of three different places I'd lived and I wondered if I could call elements.
I pointed my right hand at the back fence and a thin stream of fire shot out and caught the wood on fire. I was like, "oh shit" and used my left hand to send out an equally thin stream of water.
The fire went out briefly but seemed to spread to the lower part of the fence.
I said, "that's not how fire works" but tried using both hands to send even more water.
It caused the fire to turn dark red and sink into the wood which, again, I said, "that isn't how fire and water interact at all."
I was already thinking, "this is dumb."
So I turned away.
As I did, the top part of the fence broke away and floated toward me looking like a thin wooden Thwomp trap.
And again, I was like, "really? what am I, 8 years old?"
So I tried to ignore it.
The Thwomp trap came up behind me and demanded that I face it.
It told me that it wouldn't leave me alone until I did.
I turned back around and it was floating there in the air, looking quite stern and serious.
I asked it, "do I have to mean it?"
And it told me that didn't matter, as long as we had a good fight.
So I shook my head and shrugged, running away from it in faux terror like, "oh no, my elemental powers aren't working right!" while willing little squirts of red fire juice to dribble out.
I saw it in my peripheral vision taking on that red color and changing shape.
It was getting rounder.
I saw a round hole in the back fence and realized it was going to become the fucking Kool-Aid Man. But, I said out loud, "oh no, it's changing into something else--what could it be?" in order to keep the ruse going.
I had enough at this point but felt bad for it.
Clearly it was very proud of this whole shtick and something wanted to see it carried through to the end.
I woke up before the "fight" got underway.
tonight I had a nested dream in which I woke up from some fantastic scenario into my own life from 8-9 years ago when my daughter was still 2 and I was very happy, and then I woke up again in this life and now I'm not sure whether I'm going to wake once more.
Yeaahh!!
I'm so with you …
When I was ten, I dreamed of being locked in our local library. They had lost all the keys! It was so wonderful, I had the library to myself all summer long...
Spent the entire night in one continuous dream of exploring a giant 5-floor bookshop. It's a place I have visited before so I know where to find each section
@glasspusher @ColesStreetPothole aww, I wouldn’t take it personally… #lifeGoals #dreams
If you want to know what level of obstinate I am: I had so many "bad" #dreams about falling that I got good at defying gravity / levitating in them, so now they're just amusing.
I was angry. I was in love with #penguins, and with #solarpunk, and #hopepunk. Therefore I decided: If the #evil makes #RealityGetsCrazy - everything is possible. Even the good. Let's imagine what *we* want and fight for our dreams! https://steadyhq.com/en/naturematchcuts/posts/fbdd3658-8415-466b-98d8-100a923820a0

Is it just me or does anyone else have dreams where you're lying in bed awake struggling to fall asleep and having these part realistic, part absurd reasons why you can't fall asleep?
The other night, I thought the reason I couldn't fall asleep was because my apartment was upside down and I had to get more aligned with gravity before I could sleep.
I often think all my dreams have a deeper meaning, that my subconscious uses them to send me messages.
Recently, I woke up around 5:00 AM and wrote this down from a dream before going back to sleep.
Lo Pan tells Emperor Liu Kang that "the people summon what connects to the ungood with Mortal Kombat."
I was a Captain America who had been brainwashed by evil Dr. Dre.
No deeper meaning found.
In last night's dream, a tiger was modified to have gliding membranes like a sugar glider. Imagine that dropping down out of the sky on you!
I am in need of some ideas. I want to make a story about bees dreamlike.
You walk in a super cute meadow, and a bee lands on you. You recognize it as a bee, but it doesn't look like one exactly. What does it looks like?
I was thinking of making them just tiny bears, but it's just cute, not ''weird dreamlike-cute''.
Gimme your best ideas pls
There is often music in my dreams. I was never trained in music. I can't play an instrument. I can't read music. I don't know the terminology.
Since I have no words, no way to frame it or remember, its often the first thing I forget when I wake up.
Sometimes the music is based on real world songs and I try especially hard to remember those.
This morning, I was in the basement of a brothel where they were playing a song over the sound system that sounded like TLC's "Ain't Too Proud to Beg" but the lyrics were "Ain't Too Old for Sex". That's the only line I remember. I wondered who their clientele might be.
Travel with a guitar – different worlds, space, ocean
And this is music drawing based on performance Michael Schenker from 80s. From a videotape. First track. And at once – into the journey. Amongst the stars. A big space. Into the ocean. Captain Nemo. Instrumental piece. Mysterious.
