Found a #cellphone that I regularly used years ago, where the original #keypad stopped working and I replaced it with tactile mini switches and attached the replacemend keypad with silicone to the device. Was durable, and still works :-).
Phone is still used irregularly.

I once found a fun geocache. The guy had broken into a public lamppost and hooked a cheap #cellphone up to the power wire, then replaced the lamppost cover. You got the coordinates for the lamppost. The phone broadcast a #bluetooth access point named with the coordinates of the cache!

Recommendation sought. Our current cell phone service, through Credo, is awful. I have had a bricked iPhone for several days since they sent me an eSim upgrade. It takes hours to get help, I have wasted too much time on this nonsense.
I am looking for a new cell phone provider.
It has to work all over the US, and in Europe (England specifically).
I am not averse to an American provider with a UK eSim.
I don't want a company who donates to the GOP.
Any suggestions ?
