Pato colorado nadando. A pesar de su nombre lo que tiene colorado no son las plumas sino el pico y el cojo. Rojo intenso en ambos casos. La cabeza es marrón y en el cuerpo se mezclan grandes manchas marrones oscuras, claras, blancas y negras. El agua es d un color azul intenso y detrás se ve otro ejemplar algo borroso zambulléndose.

A large woodpecker, the pileated looks like Woody Woodpecker with his red crest and call that sound like a manic laugh. This bird is a male, as you can see from his red mustache.

This is a medium sized woodpecker, the red bellied woodpecker. You can see the ill-defined reddish patch on its belly that led to its name. This one is a male, as you can tell from the red-orange cap that extends from his bill over the top of his head.

This is a small woodpecker and the most common bird in my yard. It's also a male as you can tell by the red spot at the back of its head. It's a downy woodpecker, black and white all over.
