Ohio Senator Jon Husted backs plan to limit SNAP purchases, RFKjr wants all processed food excluded.

The bill would require the Agriculture Department to review and approve which foods qualify, and do so every 5 years, and automatically excludes soft drinks, candy, ice cream and prepared desserts from being purchased with the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).

U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services director Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has called for the government to stop allowing any processed foods in the program. #Ohio #Snap #USPol #Health
