The path to ascend the Rwenzori runs past Lake Bujuku, one of several lakes partly formed and replenished by glacial meltwater. The mountain range is the highest and most permanent source of the River Nile, with a water catchment relied upon by 5 million people, including the Bakonzo.
Since it's cold and gray again in Germany, and I have a cold that's really annoying - here's a nice sunset I captured just a few days ago in warmer climes. Kind of like a cartoon, actually: Sunset over the Nile.

#Egypt's FM Badr Abdelatty condemned the year long Israeli "aggression" in #Gaza. He further blamed #Israel for the failure of international mediation and supported an independent #Palestine.
On the question of the #Nile, after #Ethiopia appeared self-satisfied, he added “Egypt will not tolerate any existential threats".
Finally he expressed support to peace and the territorial integrity of #Libya and #Sudan.
