France has been among those leading the charge, requiring smartphones to be turned off during school hours since 2018. Now, the country is taking things a step further, insisting that students leave their phone in lockers or pouches, The Guardian reports.'
@Researchbuzz All of my state of Australia has had an “away for the day” policy since the start of 2024… I’m not 100% sure it’s the right policy, but I have to admit it seems to be working.
