Having had my OnePlus 5 since the launch in 2017 I'm thinking of replacing it even though it's still going strong. It no longer gets security updates and yes I could put Lineage on it but I need my banking apps to work too. I've been looking around reading reviews and the Fairphone 4 seems quite good but does anyone here have one and would you recommend it ? Please boost for a wider reach. #android #phones #Fairphone4
Resurrected my old “self-hosted" repo this morning. Perhaps I stopped doing so because I burnt out by doing too much? It had Nextcloud, Mastodon, Wallabag, Firefly 3, Gitea, WordPress, FreshRSS and an Algo VPN (seperate device). Using Traefik to proxy it all and requiring specialized DNS or the VPN to access at all.

Shout-out to the @PixelDroid folks. Every time I open an issue I get a same-day reply, and they always have the wholesome honesty vibe of "oops, yes that's true, thanks for telling us" or "hmm, that's not supposed to happen, let me look into it". Makes me wanna be a beta tester for even more Fedi apps.
Dear open source users,
If the author of your favorite open source app has announced they stopped developing and supporting the app (because they're frustrated and possibly burned out), please don't suggest they do more free work so that you can continue using the app.
Instead, consider thanking them for their past work and let them know that you enjoyed their app.

This two hour show is intended to be an antidote to the so-called ‘Sunday scaries’. There’s a segment in tribute to Fletch from Depeche Mode, three melancholic covers to crawl under, and one of my favourite new artists Julia-Sophie.
