@TK@bildung.social@arstechnica When I had to start using it, I had used the #Atari #MegaSTE years before. The latter had felt so advanced... 
@TK @arstechnica It was crazy back then. I was also an Atari user, and while the operating system certainly was limited compared to what was possible (as proven later with MiNT) talking to DOS users made it feel like they were living on a different planet which has had zero interaction with the rest of the computing world.
