One of my kids had me in stitches tonight…
They said they’d overheard a couple of their teachers talking about the economy and Trump last week.
They butted in and said ‘you’re talking about caterpillarism, aren’t you?‘
To which her teachers burst out laughing…and then said ‘you mean capitalism?’
And they said ‘yes, that’s what I said’
And then the penny dropped for me from last week’s parent’s evening…their teacher had laughed when talking about my kid’s unusual use of language…
So I’ve got a vision of #Trump as the Hungry Caterpillar in my head, increasing his greedy tariffs every day this week, thinking he’ll cocoon himself up at his golf course and then be hailed as an economic genius by the the end of the week…
What are the chances?
But wait…there is actually a caterpillar living in the rainforest that looks the spitting image of #Trump.
